I’ve been constantly reminding all of you to ditch coffee during my previous posts. Again, why? Ditching coffee in your life has been proven to improve sleep quality and reduce anxiety. However, most of you fail to do this because it’s such an important part of your morning routine to be sipping that cup of coffee to wake your senses up. I’ve written a couple of coffee alternatives before, but I found extra delicious alternatives a couple of days back and I want to share it with you again. If you want something that’s not plain, but rather extra and Starbuck’s like– without too much caffeine, these are great coffee alternatives that you will definitely enjoy.

If you combine matcha powder with maple syrup and cashew, you can get a subtle caffeine buzz.

- For a hot matcha, in a small saucepan, heat cashew beverage over a medium-low heat until warmed through.
- Whisk in the matcha powder until dissolved and bright green.
- Whisk in the maple and cinnamon if using and serve.
- For an iced matcha, combine all ingredients in a blender until everything is well-combined. Pour over ice to serve.

This recipe can help for focus, energy and stress reduction.

Chai Latte With Organic Oats
A blend of warming spices and black tea make this drink a favorite for those looking to cut back on added sugar.

1 black tea bag (English breakfast tea works great)
1 cup boiling water
½ cup Pacific Foods Organic Oat Original Plant-Based Beverage
1 teaspoon honey or maple syrup (optional)
¼ teaspoon each cinnamon and cardamom
Directions:
- Brew black tea first (can be made ahead) by pouring the boiling water over the tea bag in a mug and letting that brew for 5 to 10 minutes. Remove the tea bag.
- For an iced chai, combine ingredients in a blender and serve over ice.
- For hot, whisk together ingredients in a saucepan over a medium-low heat until spices are infused into the oat beverage and tea mixture.
Wow, everything looks delicious.
Matcha is my favorite alternative to coffee. It tastes really nice and it’s actually better tasting than green tea.
Both are my favorite! I don’t know which one I love more.
I’m one of those people who really need coffee in the morning or else– you won’t get to talk to me. I’ll be a LION all day.
These coffee alternatives are like breakfast on-the-go too! I mean the cashew nuts and all. It’s a heavy drink.?
That definitely looks like something you can buy in Starbucks, but I would agree that it’s healthier!
Eww mushroom in cocoa? Isn’t that too weird?! ?
Mushroom actually tastes neutral in cocoa. The taste is actually overpowered by the cocoa itself.
I don’t mind ditching my coffee for all of this.
Chai lattes are my favorite. I didn’t know that this could actually be a good alternative to coffee. I’m going to try this for a week and see what happens!
I love matcha so much. I’ve been drinking this for more than 5 months now eversince the hype of this and I haven’t craved coffee even for one bit.
I’ve had a more stable energy after ditching coffee. At first, switching to green tea was still unbearable because I was looking for that creamier taste. These alternatives are better than my current matcha green tea in the morning.
Oh, that’s it! I was looking for that creamy milky taste too because I always love putting milk in my coffee in the morning. Tea doesn’t seem to make it all better and I just ended up drinking coffee again.
Stress reduction? I’ll try mushroom hot cacao! ?
If what I’m going to drink every morning is this aesthetically pleasing, I would feel so fabulous.?
Yummy!!! I’m not a coffee drinker but these drinks look really nice. I’m going to try it out. I just have to shop for the ingredients and stock it up.
Using maple syrup or honey in your matcha makes it taste really good. I don’t use sugar at all.
I would definitely switch my coffee to matcha any day. I just love the nutty and creamy taste of it!
I think it’s the process of drinking coffee that makes my mornings. Catching a whiff of that rich coffee aroma is what mostly wakes me up. If I was to use these alternatives, I would love to add spices that will also make the kitchen smell wonderful in the morning.
These look twice as wonderful as coffee. I would feel like I got my coffee from a luxurious coffee shop every morning.
The only downside of this heavy drink for breakfast is that I’d be too full to eat a proper breakfast.?
You’re right. I don’t really eat much in the morning but I try my best to eat breakfast since it’s the most important meal of the day.
Chai latte with organic oats seems like the perfect morning wake-me-up.?
That mushroom hot cacao looks so…. SINFUL. I’m drooling over it right now.
Coffee is irreplaceable okay peepz? No amount of aesthetic can beat the feeling of being woken up by coffee in the morning.
But coffee isn’t healthy. ☹️
I tried this the entire week and it really is as good as coffee. Of course, if you’re looking for that coffee taste the hot cocoa is the closest.
I don’t like how coffee makes me feel. What I normally do is drink different things in the morning and sometimes I only have my coffee once a week.
All of this actually provides energy that’s a lot more stable than coffee. I prefer this more than coffee and it’s also twice as nutritious.
I think it will make me fat if I drink this 3x a day because I drink my coffee 3x a day.
OMG you drink too much coffee, dear!
I don’t care if this is a coffee alternative because I want to have this anytime.?
Even my teenage daughters would love this in the morning along with their pancakes.
I usually prepare smoothies in the morning that has oats. I find that even if it doesn’t have caffeine, it gives me the right amount of energy to function well the entire day. It also serves as my go-to breakfast.
I do this too and I never crave coffee because I feel energized already.
The only reason most of us crave coffee is because we want to feel awake and energized. If something else is doing it, we won’t need coffee.
The way it looks, it doesn’t look easy to prepare. While coffee is all about waiting for it to brew while you do something else.
